D2W - A designer/developer workflow conference

What’s the big deal about workflow? Workflow is something we all do, day in and day out - although you may never even think about it. Do you work with multiple applications during the day? Do you work with team members, departments, clients, etc.? Improving those workflows and making your work easier and better is what D2W is all about. In addition to the sessions centering around workflow, there'll be several biz-type sessions for Web professionals.

Adobe CS5

Adobe has taken the veils off of its latest flagship series of offerings, the Creative Suite family, with the announcement of CS5. While we'll be delving more specifically into each of the products within the CS5 family later on, here are some of the major highlights:

-64-bit versions of Premiere and After Effects (and the Mac version of Photoshop); can you say vrooom?

-New effects in Photoshop, like content-aware fill and a puppet warp tool;

-Roto Brush tool in After Effects to speed rotoscoping time;

New NVAUG Site

Since our old site got demolished, and since the Adobe Groups page doesn't allow us to do everything we need for the group (yet), we're pleased to announce the relaunch of the site. Hopefully we'll get the old content migrated at some point (feel free to volunteer if you can help with that). Enjoy!
